Growing up in the small “towns” of Jennings and Fairview impacted and molded our lives.  Long ago, the polio vaccine was discovered, Man walked on the Moon, our families watched civil rights marches and endured losses in the Vietnam War.  At home, life was simple.  We walked in the parade before the school picnic at Chain of Rocks Park, played outside until dark, and watched movies at the North or 270 Drive In theaters. There were dances at Corpus Christi and Faith-Salem churches and cruising through Steak ‘n’ Shake! Precious memories live on in our hearts. Come join us as we share the past and look to the future!
